WNBA x META QUEST

W ALL DAY

The WNBA and Meta Quest teamed up to make history by transforming the NBA Store into the first-ever standalone WNBA Store.

For 24 hours, New York City fans experienced the league like never before, both in headset and in real life. Immersive courtside VR demos and games, exclusive merch drops, and appearances from icons like Sue Bird and Ellie the Elephant brought the energy of the game to the heart of Manhattan.

Amid the WNBA’s explosive cultural rise, Meta Quest delivered something fans have long deserved but never had. The event closed the gap between the league’s momentum and a retail presence worthy of its impact, bringing people closer to the culture they love.

THE FIRST EVER WNBA STORE

For WNBA All-Star Weekend, Meta Quest took the NBA’s flagship NBA store on NYC’s historic Fifth Avenue and transformed it into the first ever WNBA store. Here fans were able to get together, experience the league from courtside with Meta Quest, meet their favorite WNBA personalities, and showcase just how far the league has come.

2.8 M SOCIAL ENGAGEMENTS DURING WNBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND

During WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, we tapped the players to try on the Meta Quest headset and watch the season’s highlights right in the headset.
