THE GAME OF ADETOKUNBO



Many people change their ethnic names under the pressure to fit in and assimilate to new places. In doing so, we lose a part of our identities from the cultures that makes us, us.

So, we created The Game of Adetokunbo, a cultural twist on the game of H.O.R.S.E. between Giannis Antetokunmpo and Hasan Minhaj. The two cross-cultural celebs are no strangers to having their names butchered and talk about the importance of celebrating all of their names and cultures that they come from.

This social-first campaign reinforced the message of WhatsApp’s new brand platform There’s No One Like Us—a rallying cry for cross-cultural communities around the world celebrating duality of cultures.
